I care about how systems actually behave in real environments, beyond descriptions on paper. I develop robust, physical machines and look for elegant solutions.

My work spans both theory and application across a wide range of disciplines. Currently, I am researching safety-gauranteed humanoid control, and creation of world-leading microrobots.

Beyond technical design, I have experience leading robotics initiatives, guiding engineering teams, and organising large-scale projects. I work almost exclusively alongside PhDs and Postdoctorates, with exceptions where I train them. I am regularly trusted to operate extremely expensive equipment with free rein.
